Blue Minima Apartment

Design

The apartment is located in a modernist cubic house. Its design connects function and aesthetics for optimal use of space according to a philosophy of modernist architecture.

A layout consists of open/closed spaces that can be adjusted to resident’s needs.

A blue color inspired by a calm sea. Natural materials: wooden parquet, terrazzo on the floor and kitchen wall, and wooden veneer. A lot of light and white with black and brass details.

All together, it creates an elegant and functional living space.

Relax and work

The living room is divided into two spaces: a relaxation with a dining area and an office area.

There are sliding doors between them, which can be hidden in the wall. Residents can have one big open space to enjoy time together or two separate rooms, when they need to create calm and focus for work.

A fire place give warmth and a sense of relaxation.

The office area in a blue cube. The color emphasizes an optical separation from the dining area.

A long desk for two persons is hidden behind blue doors. There is no need to collect all papers after work and prepare them again the next day. It’s enough to close the doors to have a clean space.

The kitchen in bright natural tones with terrazzo on the wall and brass details like faucet and lighting.

A big countertop to prepare delicious dishes.
